Volunteer Research Assistant

We are hiring a few volunteer (unpaid) research assistants for ongoing projects of CRIDA. See below for details.

Title: Research Assistant
-
Time Commitment: 6 hrs/week,
-
Term: 6 months (August 1, 2023 – January 1, 2024)

Volunteer (unpaid) position
Responsibilities:
-
Conduct environmental and jurisdictional scans, literature review on contemporary issues
-
Develop knowledge translation materials (infographics, key messages, videos and fact sheets )
-
Provide assistance to multiple research and grant projects (drafting proposals, writing reports, briefs, conducting scans, basic data analysis, and information synthesis)

Project management work (develop and monitor work plan, facilitate meetings, etc.)

Recruitment Phases:

Abilities and skills required for this position:

Time commitment- minimum 6 hours a week

Ability to work in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
